HYDERABAD: On the direction of Special Assistant to CM Sindh on Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Sadiq Ali Memon, a one-window camp was held on Tuesday for issuance of disability certificates.
As many as 135 persons with disabilities were benefited by availing disability assessment certificates while 21 cases were referred for further expert opinion to LUMS Hyderabad and PMC Nawabshah.
Sindh Persons with Disabilities Protection Authority (PSDPA) DG Ghulam Nabi Nizamani, RCPH Hyderabad deputy director Munir Bhatti, RCPH Mirpur Khas deputy director Hasan Ali Laghari, and RD Hyderabad Amin Memon were also present at the camp.
People from local community appreciated the efforts of SACM Sadiq Ali Memon, SPDPA and RCPH for their work and providing facilities to persons with disabilities at their doorstep. SACM Sadiq Ali Memon said such camps are being held on regular basis across the province and the persons with disabilities should contact their concerned office to get information and disability certificates as well.
