Kashmiri leadership call on Raja

President Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan and Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majeed called on Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf here at the PM House on Friday and discussed with him the current political situation in Azad Kashmir.
The Prime Minister said that development of AJK was very important for Pakistan and the government had allocated a substantive amount of funds for this purpose. He said the Government of Pakistan fully supports the right of self determination of Kashmiri brethren at every forum and desires a solution to the Kashmir problem in accordance with the resolutions of United Nations.
The Prime Minister reiterated the resolve of the government to continue to extend diplomatic, moral and political support to their Kashmiri brethren. The President and the Prime Minister of AJK thanked the Prime Minister for the support extended by the people and government of Pakistan to the Kashmir cause and the steps taken by his government for the development of Kashmir. They also apprised the Prime Minister about the on-going development schemes in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
