ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has received an invitation from India to attend a next month meeting of the regional countries' national security advisors (NSAs) on Afghanistan's situation.
Foreign Office spokesperson Asim Iftikhar Ahmad confirmed to Business Recorder on Monday that an invitation has been received but no decision has been taken so far whether to attend or not. Earlier, India media reported that Pakistan is among the countries of the NSAs meeting next month.

India's NSA Ajit Doval would chair the meeting on the latest situations of Afghanistan. China, Russia, Iran, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan are also said to have been invited for the regional conference that will look to address the humanitarian crisis in Afghanistan along with the security situation and the need for the Taliban to uphold human rights.
