Dengue virus: town administration asked to take action against old tyre shops' owners

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader and Punjab Minister for Education Mian Mujtaba Shuja ur Rehman has directed the Shalimar town administration to take action against owners of old tyre shops those are now following the suggestions of entomologists.
While inspecting the protective measures against dengue in the Shalimar town area, Rehman said violator's shops will be sealed and action will be taken under the law. He directed to remove debris and wastage from Union Councils (UCs) located in the town areas. The Minister also distributed pamphlets regarding caring instructions about dengue virus among the general public.
He said that students can inform the society about precautionary measures against dengue virus in a better way and positive results had been brought out after the participation of students in the campaign against dengue fever, during last season. He said that students apprise the people of precautionary measures against dengue, and government is extending every possible corporation to the students and educational institutions for holding seminars and walks in this regard.
