Likewise, other parts of the country, the activists of different religious organisations held rallies and demonstrations to observe "Al-Quds" Day here on Friday. The day is marked every year on "Juma-tul-Wida" (last Friday of Ramazan-ul Mubarak). In this connection, Imamia Students' Organisation (ISO) district Peshawar staged a protest rally, at Sher Shah Suri road, against the illegal occupation of Israel on Palestinian land, on the occasion of Juma-tul-Wida.
The protesters led by Ali Abbas Naqvi, Peshawar Regional Nazim of ISO, Allam Hassan Naqvi Azhar Bangash and Hussain Bangash were chanted full-throated slogans against the Israeli barbarism in Palestine and illegal occupation on its territories and the US hypocritical role on the issue.
The protesting ISO leaders said that Baitul-Muqaddas is a religious issue of all the Muslims of the world and ejecting Israel from the holy places is our aim and destination. They added that the expulsion of Israel would only be possible when all the Muslims unite against the atrocity of Israel. They said that US wanted to rule on the entire globe and its agenda was roaming throughout the world, adding unfortunately Muslims were less bother in this regard and become silent spectators.
They maintained that the Muslims rulers are also not interested in the peaceful solution of Syria, while interference of the Israeli state and the US in Syria is continued. They said that Muslims were being killed brutally in Burma in the supervision of world powers. The Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC), and other Muslims organisations and human rights associations were followed criminal silence in this regard, they lamented. They were also condemned both the incidents of Gilgit-Baltistan occurred on Thursday in which 22 people were killed in three passenger buses targeted in Naran, and terrorists' attack on Kamra base on Thursday.
