18 Aug, 2012

Ameer Jamaat e Islami, Syed Munawar Hasan has said that the country is heading for anarchy due to the negative mindset of the rulers and the saboteurs. As a result anti state elements is gaining strength. Addressing a large congregation of Juma-tul-Wida at the Mansoora mosque, he said that there seemed to be no government in the country as lawlessness, robberies, murders are on the rise and there is no one to take them to task.
He strongly condemned the target killing of the passengers of the Gilgit bound bus and said that after Balochistan, such incidents had also spread to other parts of the country which is alarming but the rulers are busy in other affairs. Munawar Hasan said that as long as the rulers remained slaves of the US, the patron of India and Israel, neither Kashmir and Palestine would be liberated nor the oppression against the Muslims would end. He counselled the civil and military high ups not to provoke the masses by announcing military operations against the Haqani network in North Waziristan.
He said that in order to avoid Kamra air base like incidents, the country would have to pull out of the US war, permanently stop the Nato supplies and adopt independent foreign and internal policies. He said that the JI is a movement for the supremacy of religion and it believed that the solution of all our problems lies in the enforcement of the Islamic system.
JI Ameer said that speech of the army chief suggests that army was aware of the serious situation in the country. He said that the Kamra airbase attack proved that the institutions meant for national security are not secure. He called upon the government and the army chief not to close their eyes to what is happening in the country.
