KARACHI: Gold prices on Saturday lost some value on the local market, traders said. It slid by Rs550 to Rs128100 per tola and Rs472 to Rs109825 per 10 grams on the weekend.

Gold price was quoted for $1866 an ounce on the world market. Silver stood at Rs1480 per tola; Rs1268.86 per 10 grams and $25.42 per ounce, traders said.
