KARACHI: On Wednesday, at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 9.801 billion and the number of lots traded at 8,570.

Major business was contributed by Crude Oil amounting to PKR 2.822 billion, followed by Gold (PKR 2.714 billion), Currencies through COTS (PKR 1.561 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.094 billion), Platinum (PKR 429.394 million), Natural Gas (PKR 339.833 million), Silver (PKR 267.169 million), DJ (PKR 212.475 million), Copper (PKR 155.559 million), Japan Equity (PKR 139.111 million) and SP 500 (PKR 65.167 million). In Agricultural Commodities, 10 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 10.452 million were traded.
