Fazl urges India to release Kashmiri leaders

Chairman Parliament's Kashmir committee Maulana Fazal ur Rehman Friday urged India to honour democratic traditions and release the incarcerated innocent Kashmiri leaders. In a statement he said the claimant of biggest democracy in the world has forcefully occupied the parts of Kashmir valley with the help of deployed 800,000 army. The occupied army enjoy unbridled powers there. Indian army arrests the innocent persistently, who remained in jail for years.
Courts have become inactive in the Indian held Kashmir. India did not hesitate in arresting the innocent Kashmiris even on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The head of Jamait Ulema e Islam (JUI-F) said, the Indian Held Kashmir (IHK) has been transformed into a cantonment. Posing question Maulana said, if Kashmiris are happy then what is the utility of maintaining such a large number of armed personnel. Kashmiris observe black day every year of August 15. The struggle of Kashmir freedom cannot be exterminated with extortions, he said adding that India should resolve the issue of Kashmir.
