Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) Director General Mujahid Sherdil has said that there is no threat of flood in the rivers as the rains are normal. He said the local people had faced difficulty temporarily due to arrival of water in different rivers and hill torrents as a result of monsoon rains. However the baseless news items telecast by electronic media have created confusion for the people.
He said all rivers as well as hill torrents were flowing normally.
