Pakistan women cricket team for World T20 announced

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) women's wing Tuesday announced a 14-member squad of women cricketers for the ICC World Twenty20, 2012 scheduled to be played in Sri Lanka from September 26. Sana Mir, Syeda Nain Fatima Abidi have been named as captain and vice-captain respectively. The other members are: Bismah Maroof, Javeria Wadood, Nida Dar, Marina Iqbal, Syeda Batool Fatima Naqvi (wicket keeper), Qanita
Jalil, Asmavia Iqbal Khokar, Sumaiya Siddiqi, Elizabath Barkat, Sadia Yusaf, Nahida Bibi and Javeria Rauf. As many as eight women cricket teams, ie, Sri Lanka, South Africa, England, Pakistan, India, New Zealand, West Indies and Australia are participating in the mega event starting from September 26 and concluding on October 7 at Colombo. Pakistan is placed in Group A and will play its first match against England on September 27 at Galle. The opening match of the tournament will be played between host Sri Lanka and South Africa on September 26 at Galle.

4th match: Australia vs India, September 27 at Galle;

6th match: Sri Lanka vs West Indies September 28 at Galle;
7th match: Australia vs Pakistan September 29 at Galle;
8th match: England vs India September 29 at Galle;
9th match: South Africa vs West Indies September 30 at Galle;
10th match: Sri Lanka vs New Zealand September 30 at Galle;
11th match: India vs Pakistan October 01 at Galle;
12th match: Australia vs England October 01 at Galle;
1st semi final: October 04 at Colombo
2nd semi final: October 05 at Colombo
Final: October 07 at Colombo.
