Spot gold was steady at $1,821.26 per ounce, as of 0052 GMT, hovering close to Monday's high of 1,823.21. US gold futures were flat at $1,821.30.
The dollar was unchanged, while benchmark 10-year US Treasuries were steady near their highest levels since December 2019 scaled in the previous session.

US inflation data for January is due on Thursday, with markets now pricing in a one-in-three chance the US Fed might hike rates by a full 50 basis points in March.
