FAISALABAD: Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FWCCI) has initiated documentation process in collaboration with State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to facilitate for securing loan under Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar Scheme, Prime Minister Kamyab Jawan Programme and subsidized loans for women entrepreneurs said Mrs Nighat Shahid, President FWCCI. She was addressing to the ‘Session for Documentation Process of Loans for Finance Schemes’ organized by FWCCI in collaboration with SBP here Saturday.
She appreciated the cooperation of SBP and said that purpose of today’s session is to facilitate the applicants for documentation and securing the loan under Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar scheme, Prime Minister Kamyab Jawan Scheme and subsidized loan for women entrepreneurs.
She said huge untapped potential exists among women doing business both in home based, small and medium level that needs to grow. Women have proven business success stories. ‘They need to facilitate’, she added.
She said that repeated sessions will bring the desired results and shelter less people will have their own homes. She said that. Prime Minister & President Pakistan are showing so much support for the entrepreneurs by launching such subsidized schemes like Mera Pakistan Mera Ghar which allows the low income segment to finance their own homes from 680 Sq Ft to 2720 Sq Ft and also PM’s Kamyab Jawan Programme that encourages the young generation to become entrepreneurs where youngsters from 21-45 years can avail this financing facility under 3 different tiers.
President FWCCI also informed that we have trained two females for documentation and filing of application for approval of loans.
Speaking at the occasion Muhammad Akbar, Senior Joint Director, SBP Banking Services Faisalabad said that their working strategy has gone to a better change that we involve participating banks for meetings at public forums so that loans could be mobilized in its true sense and speed. He assured that we will facilitate for documentation of the loan applicants coming to FWCCI and also inform of the missing documents, we will keep follow up on the cases so that these could be implemented for loan approval.
He further said that repeated sessions will be scheduled at FWCCI in this context. FWCCI might invite Deputy Government SBP and he will try to mature the visit. Moreover, he said that a help desk will be established at FWCCI to facilitate desiring applicants for documentation and securing loans under the Government and SBP Finance Schemes that will work here four days a week and 2 hours per day. This help desks will be managed by 2 focal persons from SBP and 2 from FWCCI. He also advised the Banks’ officials to take documents from the applicants as much as available and also facilitate for the remaining. He also informed that female staff will be increased from 06% to 20% by 2024.
