Prosecutors opened an investigation on Sunday into the death of a young French woman at the residence of a South African diplomat in Paris, a judicial source said. An autopsy was to take place on Monday, the source said, after the woman's body was discovered at the diplomat's home on Saturday.
Police sources told Europe 1 radio the 26-year-old woman had joined a party at the diplomat's home and stopped breathing after she went to sleep on Saturday afternoon. The sources told the radio that party-goers alleged the woman had taken drugs including cocaine.
