China Mobile Pakistan, the fastest growing network of Pakistan, has been awarded the Most Progressive Telecom Company for the year 2012 by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI). According to an announcement made by the cellular company here on Wednesday, the selection is purely based on CMPak's contribution towards the national economy and the employment generated by the company.
Annual achievement awards ceremony is a yearly feature of RCCI designed to acknowledge the performance and achievements of members of the business community. The 25th achievement award ceremony was held recently where the Chief Minister Punjab Mian Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif graced the occasion as chief guest.
CMPak started its operations in April 2008 and in a short span of time, it has become the most progressive player in the market. This aggressive stance is reflected in the rapidly increasing subscriber base and the revenue achievements.
