'Quality education could be ensured in our universities'

Sindh University (SU) Vice-Chancellor Dr Nazir A Mughal has said that the role of higher education is limited and as usual, students get admissions, study, get the degrees and go away but now we have to involve the community in higher education so that quality education could be ensured in our universities.
He was addressing the finale cricket match ceremony held at Sindh University colony. Minister for Minorities' Affairs Dr Mohan Lal Kohistani, Professor Mehmood Soomro, chairman Sindh University colony Syed Raza Hussain Shah, Professor Dr Ghulam Ali Jareko, Professor Ghulam Ali Buriro, Nadir Ali Mugheri and others also participated.
Vice Chancellor Dr Nazir A Mughal said he was fully committed to serve the people of Sindh because according to him with the service of the humanity the creator of the world becomes pleased adding that every one should vow to serve the masses.
He further said sports keep the youngsters out of the reach of diseases and they stay healthy and powerful. For annihilating the hospitals in the societies, we have to prepare sports grounds and libraries and for this Sindh University is fully determined and striving; we want our youth to be good citizens with tension free of jobs which requires healthy youngsters", he stated adding that by keeping our children engaged we can save them from wrongdoing and unlawful activities. Dr Mughal said: making our employees, teachers and officers hale and hearty, we have introduced health insurance for them so that they may live long life by foiling any attempt of any diseases.
