LAHORE: The Punjab Assembly on Wednesday unanimously approved the Punjab Commission on the Status of Women (Amendment) Bill 2020. The bill was presented in the House by Minister for Parliamentary Affairs Raja Basharat.

The draft of the ,Punjab Commission on the Status of Women (Amendment) Bill 2020 was sent to the Governor of Punjab for approval, but he sent it back without approving it.
