Quetta Gladiators have won the toss and elected to bowl first against Islamabad United in the first match of the Sharjah leg of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) beginning from tonight.
Misbah ul Haq has returned from injury while Jean Paul Duminy has replaced Andre Russel in the game for Islamabad United.
On cards, both sides sit with two points each out of their two matches. Both teams won their last games – Quetta Gladiators beat Lahore Qalandars whereas, Islamabad United took down the Multan Sultans.
For Gladiators, opening batsman Shane Watson is a major positive, as he remains in a red-hot form, the all rounder smashed 66 runs of 42 deliveries, while picking up one wicket in his last match. Meanwhile, pacer Jofra Archer and spinner Muhammad Nawaz will provide a solid bowling unit for the Gladiators.

On the other hand the Islamabad United have one of the most impressive bowling side in the tournament with Muhammad Sami and Rumman Raees forming the major crux alongside England’s fast bowler Steven Finn and Faheem Ashraf.
Whereas, leggie Shadab Khan performs the spin duty for his side, in addition to batting and top fielding. However, batting remains a concern for Islamabad, it remains to be seen, whether Misbah ul Haq will join his side or not.
