At least four people were killed in different violent incidents in city on Thursday, police and rescue sources said. In the first incident, a man was gunned down in PIB Colony in the limits of PIB police station. He was identified as Muhammad Khalid ,40, son of Allah Wala.
Unknown armed men opened fire on Khalid. He was rushed to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) for treatment where he succumbed to injuries. Deceased was the resident of Nazimabad. In another incident a man was shot dead in New Muzzafarabad colony falling in the limits of Quaidabad police station. Police said unidentified accused first called the victim and later shot and killed him and fled. The body was brought to Jinnah Postgradaute Medical Center (JPMC) for Medico legal formalities where the deceased was identified as Khalid, 40, son of Shahi Ur Reham.
Meanwhile, a man was shot dead in Ayub Goth, Sohrab Goth area in the limits of Ayub Goth police post. Police said that the victim Sarwar, 30, son of Bux, was shot and killed by unknown armed men. The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities. A decomposed body of a man was found from drain Nullah in the limits of Pak Colony police station. Police said that the body was at least 12-day old. The identity of the victim could not be ascertained.
