Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KW&SB) has commenced a survey in order to gather information to improve the provision of water and sewerage facilities to domestic, industrial, trade and bulk water consumers. During the survey different sort of information would be collected which would help in eliminating the problems in the system.
During the first phase of this survey KWSB would use telephone, email and other resources to gather information from trade, industrial and bulk water consumers. Some of the information out of all the information collected, such as consumer's mobile, telephone number and email would be used to further enhance the computerised complaint and billing systems. Whereas, other information would be used to further enhance KW&SB's internal system.
The survey is a part of different operations initiated to fulfil the promises made to the citizens of Karachi and provide them with better water and sewerage facilities. In this regard, Managing Director KW&SB, Misbahuddin Farid has hoped that domestic, trade, industrial and bulk water consumers would fully cooperate with KW&SB survey teams. He hoped that the citizens of Karachi would actively participate in the survey providing the required information and help KW&SB to improve the water and sewerage system in the city.
