The Pakistan Islamic Medical Association (PIMA) has started medical relief activities for flood victims in southern Punjab. A mobile medical team visited Rojhan Jamali in District Rajan Pur and examined around 295 patients while the association also distributed free medicines among the affected people, Dr Irfan Ullah Malik, in charge of Flood Relief Activities PIMA, told APP on Sunday.
Dr Irfan warned against spread of different diseases like skin diseases, malaria and gastro in the flood-affected areas. "We have pointed out 18 areas in Dera Ghazi Khan and Rajan Pur districts, where we will arrange mobile medical camps on daily basis," he said.
