Altaf praises Rauf's decision to quit ministry

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Sunday said that serving the humanity is the best form of worship. He said this while speaking to the people gathered at the relief camp set up at "Nine Zero" for the families affected by the Baldia Town tragedy. He said that there was nothing superior and nobler than the selfless work being done by the MQM workers.
Altaf said that Rauf Siddiqui had resigned at the call of his conscience and it had no parallel in the history of the country. He commended Rauf Siddiqui and said that ministries were of little importance for the MQM because serving the humanity was of foremost importance for the MQM.
He thanked the charitable people who were donating generously at the relief camp of the MQM. He also praised media persons who were making independent coverage of the Baldia Town tragedy with honesty.
He also praised members of the MQM Rabita Committee in London and Pakistan, MQM workers and KKF volunteers for their selfless and tireless efforts.
He also praised office-bearers of the information wing of the MQM and its subsections news room, photo section, video section, and CyberCom department for their services.
Deputy Convenor of MQM Rabita Committee Anis Qaimkhani, members of the committee and workers and office-bearers of various wings of the MQM were also present on the occasion.
