India's unprovoked firing on Wednesday martyred two Pakistan army soldiers across the Line of Control (LoC) in Bhimber Sector.

According to a statement issued by Inter-Services Public Relations,the Pakistani troops in retaliatory firing caused considerable damage to Indian posts.

The two deceased soldiers have been identified as 28-year-old Sepoy Amir Hussain, resident of district Bhimber and 32-year-old Sepoy Muneer Chohan, who was a resident of Kahuta village.

Teenage boy martyred in Indian firing along LoC

Earlier on February 23, in another similar incident, a civilian, 19-year-old Inzamam, was martyred due to India's firing along the LoC. The deceased teenager was a resident of Tetrinote village.

This unprecedented escalation in ceasefire violations by India is continuing since 2017, when the Indian forces committed more than 1,970 ceasefire violations.
