MWM activist laid to rest

The funeral procession of a worker of Majlis-e-Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) turned violent at Shahrea Pakistan where angry workers torched a passenger bus and suspended all commercial and social activities. 42-year-old Ali Raza Taqvi, who got injured during a protest over anti-Islam film last Sunday, succumbed to his injuries during treatment at a private hospital.
Scores of ardent lovers of Holy Prophet (PBUH) including men, women and children gathered at Shahrah Pakistan to offer funeral prayers. Meanwhile, angry workers staged protest demonstration over the hostile police behavior. Later, the funeral procession proceeded towards Wadi-e-Hussain graveyard where Raza Taqvi was laid to rest.
