DPC to hold long march on October 1

Difa-e-Pakistan Council on Monday announced that it would hold a long march on October 1 from Peshawar to Jamrud, Khyber Agency against the anti-Islam film, possible military operation in North-Waziristan and restoration of Nato supplies. The decision was taken in a meeting held here at provincial headquarter of Jamaat-e-Islami on Monday.
The meeting was attended by JI provincial Ameer Professor Ibrahim Khan, General Secretary Shabir Ahmad Khan, JI Ameer from Fata Sahibzada Haroonul Rashid, Israrullah Advocate, provincial Ameer Maulana Yousaf Shah from (JUI-Samiullah Haq) provincial General Secretary Ikramullah Shahid, Mualana Ismail Darwish (Jamaat Ahle Sunnat), and Saeedul Rahman, while Syed Abdul Waheed Shah, Mohammad Iqbal from (Jamaatul Dawa), Jamiate Ulema Islam Ideological group's provincial Ameer and former MNA Maulana Khalil Ahmad, and PML-Qayyum group Sohail Ahmad Khattak, Yousaf Jamal and Syed Sher Shah.
The DPC central leaders will lead caravan in formation of procession from Karkhano Market to Jamrud railway track in Khyber Agency. The rally will be addressed by its central leader Mualana Samiullah Haq, Syed Manawar Hassan, Hafiz Saeed, and Mualana Mohamad Ahmad Delawi and others.
