A boy allegedly killed his parents and two sisters reportedly for not allowing him to continue his relationship with a girl. The incident took place in Colony area in the limits of Market police station late on Sunday night. SHO Wahid Bux Laghari told Agency that the suspect, 15 years old Sharik had been arrested. He earlier denied that he had committed the crime and accused that his paternal uncles and a cousin were involved, the SHO added.
However, the boy's only surviving younger sister, Zulash, told the police that her brother had killed her parents and sister. "He also tried to kill me but I took in hands a copy of Holy Quran and pleaded him to spare my life," she told the police. The police identified his parents as Muhammad Akram (father), Shagufta (mother) and sisters Anisha and Varsha. Three of the victims died before being taken to the hospital while Varsha succumbed at the hospital on Monday afternoon after remaining in the intensive care unit for over six hours.
