Former President Supreme Court Bar Association, Asma Jahangir, hailed Prime Minister for asking Law Minister to write the letter to Swiss government in compliance with Supreme Court's order. Talking to media persons here in Lahore High Court premises, Asma said that the letter should have been written much earlier.
She said PM's direction to Law Minister to draft the letter and giving time to government by the apex court is good omen. Asma suggested the SC to allow the political government to complete its constitutional term and let the government functionaries do their work and do not make them stand in courts for whole day. Replying to a query, Ms Jahangir said she had been contacted so far to become caretaker Prime Minister.
