A division bench of the Lahore High Court here Tuesday sought a reply from National Accountability Bureau (NAB) in a petition of Sheikh Afzal of Haris Steels Mills involved in Bank of Punjab (BoP) loan scam within fortnight. The petitioner through his counsel alleged that officials of National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and the BoP had sold his Rs 1.5 billion property in Dubai on throwaway price.
However, it had been stated by the bureau that the property was sold out by his son Haris Afzal. He prayed to the court to take action against the officials involved in the sale of his precious property and also direct the NAB not to harass his son and other family members.
