Punjab University's Office of Research Innovation and Commercialisation (Oric) is organising a workshop on 'Platform for bridging Academia-Industry linkage' at Centre of Undergraduate Studies, Punjab University on September 20 at 11am in an effort to reduce the gap between university and industry. Punjab University's Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran will chair this event.
The workshop will identify technological needs of the country, besides determining how academia can apply their knowledge and expertise to propose a workable solution the domestic industry could play its vital role in national development. The resource person for this workshop is Siddiqur Rehman, the CEO of Technology Exchange and Co-ordination (Pvt) Ltd (TEC) under the umbrella of HEC, is in the process of establishing a knowledge shop for bridging the gap between academia and industry.
