Equities moved both ways on Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where investors adopted a cautious approach under the lead of hot favourite amid increase in index. ISE Ten Index showed an improvement of 25.65 points as the ISE Ten Index moved from 3,170.98 to 3,196.63 points. The overall turnover amounted to 55,500 shares as compared to previous volume of 82,500 shares.
Total 128 companies participated in buying and selling activity. Majority of stocks (69) closed in positive territory, 59 closed in negative territory, whereas no company remained pegged to its overnight levels. The volume of KESC was 15,500 shares. The volume of Lucky Cement was 13,500 shares. The volume of Engro Polymer & Chemicals was 10,000 shares.
