KARACHI: Gold prices on Wednesday slumped on the local market, traders said. The prices plummeted by Rs1800 to Rs180,000 per tola and Rs1543 to Rs154321 per 10 grams.

Gold prices on the world market were quoted for $1877 per ounce.

Silver prices dropped by Rs30 to Rs2070 per tola and Rs25.72 to Rs1774.69 per 10 grams, traders said.
