KBP has already launched this protest movement from Multan, Khanewal and Lodhran and soon it will be expanded to whole country, said a statement issued by the KBP Central Secretary Information Haji Muhammad Ramzan here on Thursday. All the heads of provincial bodies of the Kisan Board have also been directed to prepare a future course of action in this regard.
Meanwhile, speaking at the KBP CEC, Sardar Zafar Hussein alleged that the present rulers had adopted an anti-growers policy. He went on to blame that stage is being set to create an artificial food crisis in the country. He urged the government to immediately announce restoration of flat rates of electricity for 850,000 tube wells for agricultural purposes spread through out the country.
