A high powered defence delegation from Pakistan is currently visiting Sri Lanka to hold first formal staff level talks between Sri Lankan and the Pakistani Armed Forces. The talks are being held from September 18 to 21 at Colombo and would cover a wide range of issues relating to the Army, Navy and Air Force. The Pakistani delegation is led by Major General Inam Ul Haque, Director General Joint Staff Headquarters Pakistan.
Other members of the delegation include senior personnel from the three services of Pakistan's armed forces ie the Pakistan Army, Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force, said a press release issued here on Thursday. The talks, which were held in a highly congenial environment were also attended by the Defence Advisor of Pakistan in Sri Lanka.
