Nawaz asks workers to be ready for general election

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has asked party workers to start preparations for the general elections which are crucial for the country as well as countrymen. While addressing a party meeting on Thursday, Nawaz said that general elections are important for the country, hence, PML-N activists must come forward to play their role to steer the country out of the crisis.
He said that the credentials of the PML-N candidates in every constituency would be scrutinised and party ticket would be allocated on the basis of the advice of party workers in each constituency. "The PML-N would contest the next elections not for gaining power but to rid the people of corrupt rulers and to secure the future of coming generations," he said.
Nawaz also said that there is "no tsunami" and those making high claims would soon loose their steam. He said, that only the Pakistan Muslim League (N) has the panacea for all those diseases, which have been produced by power hungry individuals in the country. He added that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) has been duly acknowledged for its steadfast principles, through its continuous struggle, while everyone also admires the efforts of the Pakistan Muslim League for ensuring the independence of the judiciary and the rule of the people.
