Pakistan Muslim-League-Q (PML-Q) central leader Syed Qasim Shah called upon the Muslim Ummah to forge unity among ranks to tackle the conspiracies being hatched against Islam. Addressing a press conference here at Peshawar Press Club on Saturday, he said that the sacrilegious attempt was only to hurt the sentiments of Muslims around the world.
"We will give any sacrifice to protect the honour and dignity of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and foil nefarious designs of anti-Islam forces," he vowed. Flanked by provincial general secretary of the party Intikhab Khan Chamkani, the PML-Q central leader alleged that United States and the rest of the Western world want to impose their policies for attainment of the nefarious agenda. He viewed that it was religious obligation of Muslims to hold protest against blasphemous film, but targeting public property was totally unjustified.
