Two key militants have been killed in police encounter in Azakhel area in Nowshera district on Sunday. According to Nowshera Police, the action against militants Matiullah alias Commander Foji and his brother Latifullah alias Rehan Pahari was taken when entered into Nowshera through a mountainous route.
During the encounter both were killed on the spot. Police said Matiullah is said to be militants' commander in Peshawar and its surrounding areas. They were allegedly involved in several blasts in Peshawar, Nowshera, Charsadda and Mardan.
They were also wanted to police in killing of important leaders and law enforcement agencies personnel.
