Punjab government to provide protection to investors: minister

Provincial Minister for Planning and Development, Chaudhry Abduls Ghafoor has said that a larger number of investment opportunities are available in various sectors of Pakistan. Punjab government will provide every possible business protection and co-operation to the investors, he added.
He expressed these views on the occasion of inauguration of Pak-Korea Transport Company Parks on Sunday. Korean Ambassador Chung Choo Chuie, CO Daewoo Bus Company J.I Kim and CO Lahore Transport Company Amjad Hussain were also present on the occasion. The Minister said that Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has signed agreements with Turkey, Korea and China for the provision of quality and affordable transport facilities to the people and presently 430 buses are operational in Lahore and the citizens are benefiting from them. He said that Cargo Global is a unique transport company that will introduce new trends and ways in urban transport.
On this occasion, Korean Ambassador Chung Choo Chuie said that Korea has always established strong business relations with Pakistan and invested in its various sectors. He said that Korea is especially investing in transport and railway sectors so that best travelling facilities could be provided to Pakistani people. He said that Korea will invest five billion rupees in Pakistan.
