A train crashed into a car in southern India on Sunday killing five people, including one child, police said. The accident took place at an unmanned railway crossing in Kerala state's Aroor region.
"All passengers in the car, including a 3-year-old child died on the scene," said police officer Sabu, who uses only one name. No one on the train was injured.
Train services on the route were briefly disrupted while teams removed the wreckage of the vehicle from the tracks.
