MQM threatens to quit government if demands not met in three days

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Monday gave a three-day ultimatum to Pakistan People's Party (PPP) to fulfil the former's demands, otherwise the party would sit on the opposition benches, Aaj News reported. According to the channel, the decision was taken in the meeting of MQM Co-ordination Committee held at London and Karachi and the same has been sent to MQM Quaid Altaf Hussain for approval.
"It is now very difficult to stand with PPP as they have failed to fulfil the rational demands of MQM," a handout said.
