The Korangi Association of Trade and Industry (Kati) has advised industries in the Korangi Industrial Area (KIA) to comply with the fire and safety requirements in their respective units in order to avoid any fire hazard.
Following a meeting of Association's executive committee on Monday at Kati's premises, the Chairman Kati Ehtesham Uddin has issued a circular to all the members and industrial units to contact Kati in case of any harassment them by any government functionary even after their compliance to the fire and safety regulations by the government. He said that an exclusive cell has been established at the Kati in this regard, which would also provide advisory to the industries.-PR
