PARIS: Euronext wheat ended slightly higher on Tuesday, recovering from an earlier two-week low, as traders adjusted positions after world crop forecasts from the US government. The market was also assessing renewed Russian criticism of a wartime export deal for Ukrainian grain along with possible headwinds for European Union exports.
May milling wheat on Paris-based Euronext settled 0.4% up at 252.25 euros ($274.95) a tonne. It earlier touched its lowest since March 24 at 250.25 euros, slightly below a previous two-week low on April 6, but held chart support at 250 euros.
Euronext was closed on April 7 and April 10 for Easter holidays.
