KARACHI: Silver prices on Friday continued to hit record highs but gold inched down on the local market, traders said. Silver prices grew by Rs80 to the historic highs of Rs2950 per tola and Rs68.58 to Rs2529.14 per 10 grams.

Gold prices inched down by Rs300 to Rs225000 per tola and Rs257 to Rs192901 per 10 grams. On the world market, gold prices stood for $2036 per ounce and $25.84 per ounce, traders said.
