KARACHI: On Wednesday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.069 billion and the number of lots traded at 12,792.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.630 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.941 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.805 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.133 billion), Platinum (PKR 412.459 million), Silver (PKR 400.989 million), DJ (PKR 246.048 million), Japan Equity (PKR 140.615 million), SP 500 (PKR 128.269 million), Natural Gas (PKR 87.224 million), Copper (PKR 78.324 million) and Brent (PKR 63.931 million).

In Agricultural Commodities, 6 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 7.106 million were traded.
