KARACHI: On Monday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 17.476 billion and the number of lots traded at 14,957.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 8.520 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.716 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.699 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.452 billion), Platinum (PKR 658.197 million), Silver (PKR 624.615 million), DJ (PKR 250.576 million), Japan Equity (PKR 156.748 million), SP 500 (PKR 147.034 million), Natural Gas (PKR 142.839 million), Brent (PKR 76.023 million) and Copper (PKR 30.933 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 8 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 9.805 million were traded.
