KARACHI: On Friday at PMEX the traded value of Metals, Energy, COTS/FX and indices was recorded at PKR 13.685 billion and the number of lots traded was 10,582.

Major business was contributed by Gold amounting to PKR 6.084 billion, followed by Currencies through COTS (PKR 3.565 billion), NSDQ 100 (PKR 1.295 billion), Crude Oil (PKR 1.238 billion), Silver (PKR 449.140 million), Japan Equity (PKR 324.717 million), Platinum (PKR 310.606 million), SP 500 (PKR 148.216 million), DJ (PKR 145.722 million), Natural Gas (PKR 49.997 million), Brent (PKR 45.737 million) and Copper (PKR 27.202 million).

In Agricultural commodities, 3 lots of Cotton amounting to PKR 3.614 million were traded.
