ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has assured business community amendments in the Finance Bill-2023 for ease of doing business and removal of the discrepancies identified in the new Finance Bill.
Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue Senator Ishaq Dar chaired the concluding session of the Business & Technical Anomaly Committees' meeting at the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by SAPM on Finance Tariq Bajwa, Chairman RRMC Ashfaq Tola, Chairman FBR, business leadership and senior officers from FBR.
The Finance Minister reviewed the suggestions given by the both Committees and said that practicable recommendations will be incorporated in the Finance Bill-2023.
The members of the Business and Technical Anomaly Committees extended felicitations to the Finance Minister on presenting a people & Business friendly budget 2023-24. They also presented certain suggestions regarding taxation for amendment in the Finance Bill.
Finance Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar appreciated their suggestions regarding certain amendments in the Finance Bill 2023-24 and assured maximum facilitation of the business community in the Federal Budget for ease of doing business and prosperity of Pakistan.
It may be noted that Chairman FBR Asim Ahmad had constituted the two Committees on June 13, 2023 to identify and remove the business and technical related anomalies identified in the Finance Bill-2023 and present recommendations to FBR for removal of the same.
