KARACHI Governor Sindh Kamran Tessori has said that traders, industrialists and exporters are the capital of our country; the business community is working along with the government for the stability of the country and the positive results will be produced soon.
Export sectors are facing a tough competition in the global market due to high production cost, but the federal government is making efforts to control all these problems and soon the economic conditions of Pakistan will improve, he said while talking to a delegation that called on him at the Governor's House under the leadership of United Business Group (UBG) Patron-in-chief SM Tanveer, who is also the Minister of Industry and Commerce of Punjab.
UBG President Zubair Tufail, Chairman Sindh Region Khalid Tawab, FPCCI presidential candidate in the upcoming election Atif Ikram Sheikh, Malik Sohail Hussain, former senior vice president of FPCCI Amir Rata Bajwa and others were also present.
The Governor told the delegation that information technology (IT) classes will start after Eidul Azha in the Governor's House.
However, SM Tanveer appreciated the efforts of Governor Sindh and said that we have got a lot of success in the efforts we had started to bring the business community across the country on an authentic platform.
He said the business community is worried about the future of the country, but we have told them that when many other countries of the world have recovered after difficult time, why can't Pakistan be economically strong once again? It is important that people associated with all the business sectors of Pakistan join us in the struggle; we are sure that the country's economy will become stable once again, he said.
