Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Monday assured that the government would resolve problems of lawyers to help them perform better in their profession. The Prime Minister made these observations while talking to a delegation of Gujjar Khan Bar Association led by Chaudhary M Mubeen Shazib, President Gujjar Khan bar Association, who called on him at Prime Minister House on Monday.
"The legal fraternity is one of the most enlightened and influential segment of the society," the Prime Minister said. The President Gujjar Khan Bar Association thanked the Prime Minister for approval of funds for construction of Chamber for Lawyers in Gujjar Khan.
The Prime Minister directed Farooq H Naek, Federal Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs to extend all possible assistance for early completion of the complex. The Prime Minister said the government would encourage practising lawyers by providing necessary facilities to carry out their professional duties.
The Prime Minister accepted demand of the Gujjar Khan Bar Association to arrange IT facilities and directed the Ministry of Information Technology to provide hardware and software in one of the rooms of the Bar identified by the Association. The Prime Minister also approved provision of transport for Deputy Attorney Generals and Standing Council. The Prime Minister also assured the delegation of sympathetic consideration for construction of lawyers colony in Gujjar Khan.
