New SCCI president vows to resolve business community's issues

The newly elected President of Sarhad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Dr Mohammad Yousaf Sarwar on Monday assured that he would take steps for amicable resolution of issues of business community, saying that a comprehensive strategy would be devised for this purpose.
After taking formal charge of his office, he met with delegations from different traders, industrialists and business communities and discussed matters of mutual interest. On the occasion, the SCCI Senior Vice President Malik Iftikhar Ahmad Awan, Vice President Mohammad Anees Ashraf and members of the chamber executive committee were present.
He expressed his gratitude, especially to Businessmen Forum for posing confidence on him, vowed that they would try his level best to overcome problems being faced by the community. In this connection, Dr Yousaf said that he would meet federal, provincial government and business community representatives soon. He said it was crystal clear that traders of KP have been passing through hard days.
