ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Pharmaceutical Manufacturers’ Association (PPMA) and the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) on Wednesday discussed the issues related to the sales tax regime governing the pharma sector.
A delegation of the PPMA called upon the FBR Chairman, Asim Ahmad, at the FBR HQs.
The delegation was led by PPMA Chairman Syed Farooq Bukhari and included the PPMA members as well as ex-chairman of the Association. The meeting was also attended by Member IR-Policy FBR Afaq Ahmad Qureshi.
The delegation discussed the issues related to the sales tax regime governing the pharma sector and invited the FBR chairman to attend the pharma export seminar. Several other operational issues were also discussed during the meeting.
